The story begins with Gilles Batard, mechanic and son of a garage owner, who founded Fournitures Auto Ouest in 1981. A company based on the sale of spare parts that adapts to customer demand. The story continued with Arnaud Batard, his son, who joined FAO (Fournitures Auto Ouest) in 2006 and decided to take the company online. First via Ebay, and in a very professional way, FAO grew.
Then, in 2008, Arnaud created the 4 sites, including sphere-discount.com. Having grown up surrounded by the famous DS, CX, 2CV, Méhari and C5 TOURER, dedicating a complete site to CITROEN and its hydropneumatic suspensions was an obvious choice.

Klaxauto is also available for special events. When A.S.O bought the Tour de France à la Voile, it felt that, like the Tour de France and its legendary horn, Le TdF Voile should have its own. That's when Klaxauto stepped in and created the TOUR DE FRANCE A LA VOILE OFFICIAL HORN. We are also present every year on the 4L TROPHY, where we follow and sponsor one or two teams each year!
